Another week closer to Madamn being in your hands! It was a bit of a rough one, to be sure. After getting it to beta readers, I started getting feedback. And there was a lot more of it than I thought there would be. I've luckily gotten through most of what has been sent to me and am just waiting to hear back from the rest.
In the meantime, I'm finalizing as many other details as I can...
Finishing Kickstarter rewards.
All the fun stuff that goes at the end of the book (Acknowledgements, Author's Note, etc.).
Selling spots for the Reader's Escape.
Setting up presales (this one isn't going so well...).
In addition to still working a part time job or two and maintaining the day to day of life. So I still keep pretty busy, but I can't tell you how grateful I am I left full time employment. I'd be in a real pickle. It's tight as it is.
Because while I am still doing all of the above, I have dared to enter into the MARKETING AND PROMOTION side of things.
I had a meeting this week with someone who is pretty close to my exact ideal reader for this book.
We had a lovely meeting that lasted almost 2 hours and I got so many great ideas to help me promote the book.
